So, I just got off work.
Earlier I had sent a letter to John Chow to let him know about my plight. I sent some letters to a few other big time bloggers as well, like Darren Rowse, and Shoemoney. John was the first to jump on the bandwagon, and he jumped big!
John Chow said:
“OK Patrick, you got a deal! I’ll give you $1 per pound for the first 100lbs, $2 per pound for the second 100lbs and $3 per pound for the third 100lbs. Payment will be made in 100lb increments. Once you get to 455lbs, I’ll send you the first payment. Good luck!”
All I can say is that I’m truly greatful, for this opportunity. I’m also totally excited and dedicated to seeing it through. I hope others take the step John has to help me out. I have so far: $7 from family + the $1-3 from John. Puts me at almost $10. So far I am 10% of the way to my goal!
Moreover it puts me at: $3,000 when I reach 255 lbs.

Damn, why did’t I think of raising money to lose weight! Maybe that would get me off this damn plateau I’m on…

Sounds like a good Idea - Maybe I should start a blogroll category and link to other ‘Losers’ who are seeking ’sponsors’.
